There are so many different vehicles that you can choose from now a days. Big one’s, small one’s, one’s with a sunroof, one’s without, well Honda can help you narrow down all the decisions that are so hard to make. One of the vehicles that can be found at Honda Dealership Kentucky, is the all new 2011 Honda Odyssey. The Honda Odyssey would fall into the “minivan” category. The Odyssey is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 that creates 248 horsepower. The LX, EX, and EX-L trims all come with a five speed automatic transmission, while the Touring model comes with a six speed automatic.
Like the 2011 Toyota Sienna, which can be purchased at Manchester Toyota, the Odyssey comes with a three year or 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and a five year or 60,000 mile powertrain warranty. Honda has also added a long list of safety features to the Odyssey. It comes equipped with anti-lock brakes with brake assist, stability and traction control and side curtain airbags for all three rows. The Odyssey also comes with an expandable second row seat, which means it can actually widen making it long enough across for three car seats. It also comes with LATCH connectors in the middle position along with four other seating positions.
Now if you are looking for something a little smaller, Honda Dealership Heath is selling the 2011 Honda CR-V, which is considered a “SUV”. It is p
owered by a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine that creates 180 horsepower and 161 pound feet of torque. Like the Odyssey, the CR-V comes with a three year or 36,000 mile basic warranty and a five year or 60,000 mile powertrain warranty. Honda added a corrosion limited warranty that is good for five years with unlimited mileage and an accessory limited warranty that is good for three years or 36,000 miles to the CR-V.
Honda has also installed many safety features in the CR-V. Some include dual stage front airbags, front side airbags, font and rear side curtain airbags, antilock brakes, Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control and brake assist. Even though the 2011 Odyssey hasn’t been tested by the federal government or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the 2010 model received high rankings. Now the CR-V received five stars on all federal government crash tests except the rollover tests which it earned four stars. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the CR-V it’s top score of “Good” in front offset and side impact tests. However, they did only receive a score of “Marginal” on roof strength tests.
Honda has some really nice vehicles no matter what size you are looking for. It never hurts to test drive a few and see which one suits you best. Whether you have a large family or a small family, Honda will have a vehicle that works for you.
